Tracy S. Dunagan Biography
Tracy S. Dunagan is a seasoned marketing communications professional whose background includes 14 years marketing communications experience in New York, San Francisco, Denver and San Diego.
Throughout her career, Ms. Dunagan has executed marketing communications, brand strategy, media relations and writing programs on behalf of myriad companies and organizations. She has extensive experience helping both large companies and small entities reach their goals through business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing programs.
Ms. Dunagan has developed and implemented communication plans for consumer companies like WD-40, McDonald’s, Wild Oats Markets, Sunkist and Boston Market Restaurants, and for nonprofit organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities, United Way, National Kidney Foundation and the MS Society. Her work has included corporate positioning, key message development, media relations, copy writing, advertising campaigns, Web communication, internal communication efforts and more. She also has served as company spokesperson, launched new products and services, led on-site guerilla marketing initiatives, and managed crisis communications.
For large financial services companies like MetLife, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies and Tillinghast – Towers Perrin, Ms. Dunagan has led communication strategy efforts, including expert positioning which resulted in consistent favorable media coverage among the top media outlets in the world.
She also has helped several small companies launch themselves or grow through grassroots marketing, corporate positioning and media relations. This work has spanned industries that include insurance, technology, construction, finance and others.
New to Carlsbad, Ms. Dunagan is looking forward to applying her skills and background in a smaller demographic area, and making a genuine difference for local companies.
Ms. Dunagan earned her Bachelor’s degree in writing from Santa Clara University in the San Francisco Bay Area. |
